Wedding Florist FAQ’s

As much information as possible. Style of your gown and the bridesmaids dresses. Samples of colour, any photographs of flowers that you love. Any photographs of the church, venue, marquee and of course Pinterest! Anything & everything that inspires you for your wedding bring in!

As soon as possible, once you have chosen your florist, book the date as soon as you can. Like all good wedding related services dates soon get fully booked.

All you need to do is secure your florist for your wedding date. Florists can be booked 2-3 years in advance. Once you have booked your florist they would normally like to have an initial consultation & a final consultations with you 4-6 weeks before your wedding day. This is when we would need you to fully decide on the flowers and designs you want for your big day. We ask for a £100 booking fee to secure your date with ourselves this is non refundable but will be deducted from your final invoice.

The best thing to do is to arrange a meeting to see the various flowers and styles of work we do. At that time you can also see the stunning vases, candelabra mirrors etc as well that you might wish to use at your reception. We have a showroom bursting full of ideas & inspiration, you will be surprised at how your wedding planning will come together.

Sarah Nicholson will be creating your bouquet, none of the rest of the team get a chance! Hehe! Seriously though we all work on your wedding flowers but Sarah always makes your bouquet, overlooking & co-ordinating your arrangements making sure every petal & leaf is in their perfect place.

Of course we can! If the groom is travelling from away to the wedding venue we can make sure they are at the venue for him rather than being in a warm car for some time, or if you’d prefer we can deliver to where-ever he will be at the morning of your wedding. We label up all your buttonholes so theres no mistaking who’s who’s on the day.

Yes we do. We have a wide range of pins, coloured pearls, diamantes, crystals, even butterflies or flowers! Just let us no your preferred type. We also magnet the corsages for the ladies, to keep them from marking any clothes.
