Sherri & Lewis got married at the beautiful Rudding Park in Harrogate. The styling of her wedding was pretty, and delicate, with lots of white/ivory with an accent of soft lilac and gold.
Early on in the planning stages it was proving that the gold candelabras were proving a little difficult, as although gold was all over Pinterest at the time, it was pretty scarce at the wholesalers!
Sherri and her family had managed to locate some gold candelabras in the uk (which I have since now bought from her. ) and were the perfect quality and tone to match Rudding park. Sherri also used Cherry Williams ( who has an Aladdin’s cave full or gorgeousness! ) to finish the tables and chairs with soft lace, and golds. Pumpkin vases that we filled with soft whites and lilac toned flowers. Finished off with teal lights and votives perfectly!
Majority of the floral design pieces had to be done on site, with every single stem accounted for that was loaded into the van, making sure not one single flower head or sundry was left behind. It was a 3am start, to get the van loaded and ready to be at Rudding Park for 5.30am. We were unable to get into the venue the night before, so we had to follow a very strict time plan for each design element. There was very little room for error, and was very thankful to have had my husband mark on hand to help with the clearing up (flowers can be very messy!)
First up was dressing the quaint church which was on site of Rudding Park. A full floral arch needed to be done, whilst the girls prepped inside, with windowsill arrangements, pew ends, pedestals and a sea of rose petals either side of the white carpet.
